This has been my "Find of the Fortnight" in Puerto De La Cruz, Tenerife. A little away from the main Esplanade and just off the very expensive, Plaza del Charco, in Calle Puerto-Viejo, 8, here we have one of the oldest restaurants in Puert0 de la Cruz, with quality food, well cooked and at reasonable prices, the wine is also very reasonable too, and the Zaperoco - possibly the best boozy coffee in the world. Lovely intimate venue.
It was amazing the food is fresh and delicious the fish was so so good and the calamari were perfect. Such a plesent experience and a great authentic Teneriffa Cousine 👍 it was so so good, a must wisit when you come to this beautiful island 😊👌
Dinner was very good, we ate for about €18 per person. We ordered the mojo potatoes first and then a pizza (the waitress's suggestion) which was roasted leg, very good, a very different flavor than what we were used to.
Lovely evening, amazing pizza and pasta, the waitress Lila is so welcoming and goes above and beyond to make sure you are looked after. We will be back :)
Really lovely restaurant on the strip. Great atmosphere, great service and delicious food. We came here to eat twice during our stay in puerto de la Cruz. The staff were extremely attentive and the service was quick. it was nice to be sat outside enjoying the sound of the waves from the ocean right beside the restaurant. I couldn’t recommend this place more especially for couples who want to enjoy a relaxing meal together :)
We visited twice during our short break in puerto de la cruz.We had pizza on both occasions which were 5*Pizzas range from 10€ - 13€ and are around 35cm diameter. On the second visit we shared a pizza and ordered a side of fries.Sitting directly on the promenade was a great spot for watching the world go by with lovely views out to sea.
Very nice waiters and waitresses, the food was good aswell! Pretty big portions though so be careful not to order too much. However you can take it with you if you did, so it’s not a big issue if you are able to reheat. The prices are nice for what you get and the drinks are big aswell! Would definitely recommend going here if you are nearby!
Lovely warm welcome here. Seated in a vibrant section indoors. 3 of us eating, chose a pizza gourmet, pork tacos and Lago salad. All delicious, prepared with care and presented well… so we stopped for dessert. Nutella Pannacotta was delicious and the hot chocolate with brandy… perfect for a chilly evening.
starting from the beginning, the service was not very smiling / nice in the sense I got very frosty vibes,I don't like this kind of behavior. the waiter who served us didn't even bring us a menu, I had to sit down myself and when I asked him he answered me very not nicely, a big minus for him. the food was good, minus such that my husband got fish soup in which there was no seafood, only rice - minus when I complained it turned out that there was no more fish soup.the second vegetable soup was delicious. grilled vegetables were tasty and the sauce for it was also tasty, the steak was tasty, medium rare, great, the tuna salad didn't taste good to me, too much water with fat, everything was swimming in it - a minus.the caesar salad was delicious.generally ok if someone likes pizza, pasta, these dishes looked delicious, and fish too, so I generally recommend it.
Very nice food which we all thoroughly enjoyed and would come again!Special shout to Yolanda who was very busy all night and she took time to point out that the breaded mushrooms portion for starters was enough for two people! She didn't have too... and could've made more profit for the restaurant but otherwise very good. I had the pork knuckle which the meat fell off the bone and real mashed potatoes with a nice gravy. My son had pizza which was proper good but too big for one.My wife had carbonara which was not bad as well.
The food here was great. The service was friendly and efficient. You eat inside, outside on the front terrace or in back garden terrace. My salmon in bernaise sauce was divine. It is always nice to have a meal with some fresh vegetables too! Well definitely come back.
I don’t normally write reviews, but felt compelled to write one because my dinner here was so lovely. The paella was delicious and the staff was attentive and helpful. The singer that day was particularly fantastic. Would recommend if your looking for good food and a cozy, beachy vibe
After all other restaurants I visited on Tenerife (not too many to be fair), which mostly were mediocre at best, this one was a real relief. And I was a bit surprised to find quite good food and service at such a touristic area.I had the guacamole bruschetta with garlic shrimp, sautéed black spaghetti with baby squid, prawns and garlic clams and the chocolate coulant with ice cream. Everything was tasty, well balanced and seasoned, hot and seemingly freshly prepared. The waiters were really polite.Atmosphere at the beautiful boardwalk was nice.Prices were fair.In my opinion this restaurant seem to be worth a stop.
Very good service and the tapas plates were very enjoyable, lovely chicken, cheese and salmon! Finished off with a lovely frozen cocktail!Good value for money
AMAZING ! We had paella and it was the tastiest delicacy I’ve ever put in my mouth !You MUST come and try the strawberry shortcake cocktails it was INSANE
We ordered a seafood platter with lobsters, seafood soup rice and squid risotto. All the food are so delicious. And the vibe is good with the sun set. However we figure out that the bill had mistakenly took 3 person as 4 person in the bread service, we had requested to correct it. It seems the server turns out with impatient attitude towards this.
